What an M-sand plant does

An M-sand plant turns crushed rock, usually the 0–20 mm or 10–40 mm fraction coming off a stone crusher plant, into cubical sand that can replace river sand in concrete and plaster. The heart of the plant is a VSI crusher (vertical shaft impactor), which throws rock against rock or an anvil ring to break it into well-shaped grains. The VSI output is screened to separate sand from oversize, and the sand is then washed to bring down the silt and dust content before it is stockpiled or bagged.

SREW Projects manufactures every machine in that chain at our works in Dullapally, Hyderabad, so a single supplier is responsible for sizing, fabrication, installation and spare parts.

VSI models and capacity

Our VSI crushers cover 30 to 250 TPH across four models: V500 (30–40 TPH), V1000 (65–90 TPH), V1200 (80–140 TPH) and V2500 (180–250 TPH). For most quarries we size the VSI to take the surplus fines and chips from the secondary crusher, which means the M-sand section can be added to an existing plant without replacing the primary jaw or cone.

Complete plants with M-sand

If you are starting from raw rock, a combined aggregate and M-sand plant is usually the better buy. On our 150 TPH plant (jaw + HSI or cone + VSI + screens) the published price is ₹2,00,00,000 + GST, and the 200 TPH plant with VSI is ₹3,10,00,000 + GST. Our 200 TPH West Bengal project is a working example: a 900x600 grease jaw crusher, an S100 cone crusher and a 1850x5000 mm 3-deck screen produce 10, 20 and 40 mm aggregates alongside washed M-sand.

Wet or dry M-sand?

Washed M-sand suits ready-mix concrete and site plastering. If you sell to dry-mix plaster, tile adhesive or block makers, the sand usually has to be dried. Our Hyderabad recycling project uses an LPG-fired SREW Projects sand dryer that brings processed sand below 1% moisture for dry-mix packaging firms. The same dryer range is available for M-sand lines.

How we work with you

• Sizing: you share rock type, feed size, hourly capacity and sand grades. We return a flow sheet and a machine list.
• Inspection: you are welcome to inspect machines at our Hyderabad works before dispatch.
• Dispatch and installation: machines dispatch 6–30 days from order. Freight is quoted in writing, and installation and commissioning are charged separately.
• After sales: warranty of 6–12 months by product (wear parts excluded) and spare parts from Hyderabad.

What is the price of an M-sand plant?

What capacity M-sand plants do you build?

From 30 TPH up to 250 TPH. We do not supply plants above 250 TPH.

Can I add M-sand to my existing crusher plant?

Yes. A VSI crusher, screen and sand washer can be added after your secondary crusher, as long as feed size and capacity match.

Do you install M-sand plants outside Telangana?

Yes. We install and commission plants across India. Freight and installation are quoted in writing.
