Why there is no single price

Two C&D plants with the same tonnage can cost very different amounts. A plant that receives clean concrete from road works needs little more than a jaw crusher, an impact crusher and a screen. A plant that receives mixed municipal debris also needs a pre-sorting hopper, a trommel and a magnetic separator, and may need a sand dryer if the recycled sand is going to dry-mix buyers. That is why we quote complete C&D plants on request rather than publishing one number.

Machine prices (ex-works Hyderabad, + 18% GST)

Other machines that often appear in a recycling plant: surge or loading hopper ₹2,50,000, storage silo ₹8,00,000, spiral sand washer ₹2,50,000 and HSI crusher (75–120 TPH) ₹18,50,000, all + GST.

Building up a budget

To estimate your equipment cost, start from the process you need and add machines in order:

1. Feeding: a grizzly feeder or hopper.
2. Sorting: for mixed debris, a trommel and magnetic separator (quoted with the plant).
3. Primary crushing: a jaw crusher sized to the largest lumps you receive.
4. Secondary crushing: an impact crusher if you need cubical aggregate.
5. Screening: one screen with enough decks for every product you sell.
6. Conveying: count the metres of belt between machines and to stockpiles, at ₹28,000 per metre.
7. Drying: a sand dryer only if your buyers need dry sand.

Add 18% GST to the total equipment price.

Costs outside the equipment price

• Freight from Hyderabad to your site, quoted in writing.
• Installation and commissioning, charged separately.
• Civil works: foundations, ramps, drainage and stockpile areas.
• Electrical supply and the control panel.
• Land, approvals and permits from your local authority and pollution control board.
• Running costs: power, fuel for the dryer and loaders, labour, and wear parts such as jaw plates and blow bars.

A real example

Our Hyderabad C&D plant handles 40–50 TPH of urban debris with a pre-sorting hopper, trommel, cross-belt magnetic separator, C&D-modified jaw crusher and LPG-fired sand dryer. Including the dryer let the client sell sand below 1% moisture to dry-mix packaging firms, a higher-value product than wet recycled sand. When you plan your budget, weigh the cost of extra machines like a dryer against what the extra product will sell for.

Ways to reduce the cost

• Separate concrete at the demolition site so you can run a simpler concrete recycling plant.
• Start with crushing and screening and add drying later, leaving space in the layout.
• Use a mobile plant if debris comes from a few large sites rather than a central yard.

How much does a C&D waste recycling plant cost?

Complete plants are quoted on request because the sorting stage depends on your debris. Machine prices are published, for example a jaw crusher 24x15 at ₹8,50,000 + GST and a hydraulic impact crusher at ₹10,50,000 + GST.

Is GST included in the prices?

No. Prices are ex-works Hyderabad and 18% GST is extra.

Are installation and freight included?

No. Freight is quoted in writing and installation and commissioning are charged separately.

Do I need a sand dryer?

Only if your buyers need dry sand, for example dry-mix plaster or mortar makers.
